Beyond Barriers Returns to Colorado

Some groups rent a vehicle. Others come back year after year and turn it into a tradition.

This summer, we welcomed the women of Beyond Barriers Retreats back to Colorado for the second year in a row. If you're not familiar, Beyond Barriers Retreats was built around mountains, yoga, self-improvement, and the kind of connection that only happens when you're a little scared and a lot supported. The Iowa-based, nature-obsessed organizers are beyond impressive and their retreats are perfect for any adventure-seeking women who want to push past their own barriers and experience the freedom on the other side.

The week started the way most great trips do around here: rendezvous at the Titus Adventures Denver, CO Headquarters. Then everyone gets paired with their vehicle, a quick orientation, and setting the tone for the adventures ahead. Gear loaded, questions asked, nerves half-settled, half-buzzing. From there it was a fast supply run and out toward the first night's camp, where the group set up under the kind of sky that makes you forget your phone exists.
