Job Title: Adventure Shop Manager (Part-Time, Seasonal)

Location: Las Vegas, NV

Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 / hour (DOE)

Schedule: ~20 hours/week (October into June, including weekend rotations)

The Role:

As the Las Vegas Shop Manager, you will serve as the foundational anchor for our desert outpost. This is a dynamic, hands-on role suited for a self-starter who loves the outdoors, knows their way around a vehicle, and takes pride in meticulous organization. You’ll oversee everything from vehicle prep and minor repairs to customer orientations and operation logistics. 

Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle Preparation: Meticulously pack and prep rental vehicles according to our detailed checklists before client pick-ups 

  • Vehicle Cleaning: Thoroughly de-rig, wash, vacuum, and clean all vehicles upon their return. Maintain the high standards of cleanliness that TAC is known for.

  • Vehicle Inspection: Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, maintaining a keen eye for pre-existing and new damage. Document any issues promptly and accurately.

  • Repair Projects: Between trips there are sometimes small repairs or fixes that we need to do in house.  This includes things like replacing a battery, re-attaching trim pieces, patching fabric, paint touch-up and small carpentry tasks.

  • Customer Interaction: Greet clients and provide a comprehensive orientation on all aspects of the vehicles and gear. Answer questions and ensure clients feel confident and prepared for their trip.  While customers are on trips, you may also need to help troubleshoot issues in the field.

  • Operation Management: Planning ahead! Scheduling maintenance with repair shops, managing gear and supply inventory, ensuring the workspace is organized, and providing frequent updates to Denver team

Schedule & BenefitsSeasonal Commitment: October through June (~20 hours/week). If the operations are going well, there could be potential to continue in the summer months.

Denver Onboarding: Fully paid travel to TAC Headquarters in Denver, CO for initial training.

Perks: Use of vehicles/gear for personal trips when time allows.  Also the potential to get paid to camp, getting content of the vehicles and scouting new camping spots.

Summer Adventure Technician (Denver, CO)

Local adventure company seeking summer student who likes working with cars and outdoor gear.

About the Role:

The technician’s role is to foremost help make sure vehicles and gear are ready for customer trips. Every day is different here and way better than working a greasy fast-food counter! The position is perfect for someone who is flexible, handy, and enjoys working with/on vehicles. You will work closely with others on our team and interact with customers.

Requirements:

• Able to drive and lift 50+lbs
• Likes working with cars
• Attention to detail
• Automotive or household repair background
• Camping experience is a plus

REsponsibilities:

• Clean vehicles between rentals (wash exterior, vacuum, dust, and windows)
• Pack camping gear for trips
• Clean and repair gear if needed
• Small maintenance on vehicles
• Gives orientation to customers during vehicle check-out
• Shopkeeping
• Organization of tools and equipment

Time:

15-25hrs/week, occasional weekend shift

Hourly Pay Rate:

$19/hr
