We offer the award winning iKamper Mini rooftop tent for rent, perfect for 2 people.

We install it onto your vehicle and when you arrive at your campsite the tent sets up in just a few moments. Inside there is a comfy mattress, mesh windows with blackout panels, and a globe light.

HOW IT WORKS

  • See calendar below

  • There is a 4-day minimum on the tent rental, which allows you to enjoy a full weekend camping! Pick-up is between 9am-3pm on a Friday and return is between 9am-3pm on the Monday. Non-weekend rentals are fine too, however there is still the 4-day minimum. We are closed Sundays.

◉ Submit a request

  • Fill in the check-out questions and we review your request. We will be in touch within 24hrs to get a few photos of your vehicle to confirm we can install the tent

  • When you book, we charge a 25% deposit.

◉ Schedule the Tent Install

  • After the reservation is confirmed, we will set up a time for the install at our Denver shop (see our location).

◉ START YOUR ADVENTURE!

  • On the day your trip starts, arrive at our shop and allow up to 1 ½ hours for us to install the tent and review operation.

◉ STRESS-FREE RETURN

  • Return to the shop & allow 30min to inspect and remove the tent. Assuming everything looks good, we will release the security deposit within 24hrs.

FAQ’s

    • The rental rate is $85/day.

    • When you book, we charge a 25% deposit.

    • One week before the rental starts, the remaining 75% of the reservation amount will automatically be charged.

    • One day before the rental starts, we will place a $500 security deposit hold on your credit card

  • Inside the tent is a thick foam mattress and we put a fitted sheet over it. There is also a rechargeable globe light inside.

    Also included in the rental is a handy shoe bag to hand from the tent, and 4 leveling blocks to get your vehicle level at night.

    • Outside when closed: 55” wide x 57” long

    • Height when closed: 13” (this may limit what garage you can drive into!)

    • Inside Sleeping Area: 83” x 51” (approximately a “full” side bed which is plenty for 1 or 2 adults)

    • Weight: 125lbs

  • The rooftop tent has a great mounting system that clamps around crossbars. There is nothing permanently installed to your vehicle. Most standard crossbars are ok but the best are aftermarket ones that are stronger, like from Yakima or Thule.

    When you arrive, we will have tent on an overhead lift and we will back your car under it and slowly lower the tent onto the crossbars. Then we go around and tighten each clamp carefully.

  • We have some universal cross bars that can fit on many factor rails (the things that run front to back on your roof). Contact us to see if it we can fit them on your vehicle.

    Crossbars are $45 to rent during your trip.

  • No, sleeping bags need to be removed before closing. But the mattress can stay!

  • Yes, we have a ton of other great gear including sleeping bags, propane firepits, showers and more!  You can add those on in the check-our process.

  • We are going to try to make sure we know beforehand if there will be any issues, but we can’t foresee everything.  If we can’t make it work, or don’t feel comfortable with suitability or condition of the racking on your vehicle, we will either offer you a full refund or rent you a ground tent with sleeping pads or cots at a much lower rate. Don’t worry, this is rare, we are experts!
